1.Human Rights Monitoring & Advocacy
Monitoring of States’ compliance with normative standards of human rights across sectors
Monitoring of States’ reports to Human Rights Commissions
Production of shadow reports
Monitoring of States’ promotion, protection and respect of human rights
Advocacy for states’ ratification and compliance with normative standards
Production of national and regional human rights reports
2. Action Research, Civic Education & Training
Research that is action oriented
Raising awareness of civic society on human rights issues and democracy challenges
Training of human rights and good governance activists on developments in human rights and democracy
3. Equality, Equity & Non-Discrimination
Promoting equal treatment and protection of vulnerable groups such as: women, children, ethnic groups and non-citizens
Promoting equitable treatment of vulnerable and marginalized groups
Advocating non-discriminatory practices, especially against women and other minority groups
