The country's leading telecommunications service provider, the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC), has reduced Internet bandwidth prices by up to 64 percent as part of its commitment to providing affordable Internet access ... Due to a substantial increase in bandwidth demand from the business sector and domestic (residential) consumers, BTC recently upgraded its Internet bandwidth capacity, leading to a growth in economies of scale, the benefit of which the parastatal is extending to customers. "There has been growth in various parts of the business, and it is only logical that customers realise the benefits of business partnerships with BTC," says Duncan Pie, Head of Public Access Communications ...
