The Association of Sign Language Interpreters of Zambia (ASLIZ) is a Zambia-based NGO.
It was established with the core objective of offering Sign Language interpretation to needy communities and individuals, training of interpreters and undertaking Sign Language Advocacy.
ASLIZ provides the government’s official Sign Language interpreters and part-time Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) TV Sign Language Newscastesr. The organisation is governed by a board of trustees elected at an annual general meeting from parents of deaf children, the deaf community, teachers of the Deaf and Sign Language interpreters trained by ASLIZ.
