Over the past 20 years, ADRA has been working on strengthening local communities and promoting sustainable development, with a special emphasis on rural areas and poor suburbs of Luanda. It has also established itself as a space for dialogue between government and communities – to promote citizens´ participation in public policy and planning. |

The Centro Cultural Mosaiko is an organization that is part of Roman Catholic Church, which was created and run by the Dominican Missionaries. The Mission of Mosaiko is to contribute to the establishment of culture and education of human rights in Angola, through research and promotion of initiatives towards an integrated development of the whole Angolan society. Mosaiko is the first Angolan Angola Church related organization to explicitly assume the promotion of human rights as its work, acting in different parts of the country and with 13 years of experience. |

Associação Nacional dos Surdos de Angola |
The grant project will be implemented by the Associação Nacional dos Surdos de Angola (ANSA), established in 1999 and formally recognised by the government in 2006. 95% of the leadership of the organisation is comprised of deaf people. ANSA promotes, and defends, the rights of the deaf, and their integration in society, as guaranteed by their rights. ANSA has a membership of near 2300 people, 800 of which are women living in Angola. The organisation works closely with the Ministry of Education and the Angolan Federation of People with Disabilities. |
Centro Nacional de Aconselhamento |
The 'Right to Citizenship' campaign will be implemented by National Counselling Centre (NCC), an Angolan non-governmental organisation established in 2000 with the mission of promoting community empowerment, democracy and human rights. The NCC has been implementing a number of projects on citizenship education, human rights and elections, legal assistance and assistance to victims of war and violence. |
Colectivo de Arte Twana Twangola |
This project seeks to allow Twana Twangola to advocate for the revival of the Angolan Early Childhood Education and Development (ECDE) policy development process and subsequent adoption of the policy by bringing together key stakeholders throughout the country. The project will build on already existing draft policy document, currently being coordinated by the Child´s National Council (CNC) under the direct supervision of the President´s office. |

The delivering outcomes for children in Angola still remain a huge challenge. ECDE and the rights of the child remains largely a neglected sector in Angola. This is evident because Angola has a huge gap between policy and practice including limited budgetary allocation and political will to address equity issues. |
